Goa, June 3 -- A major fire broke out at a mobile phone shop in Taleigao on Monday night, causing estimated losses of over Rs.15 lakh. Preliminary investigations suggest that the blaze was likely triggered by an electrical short circuit.

The fire, which erupted late in the night, rapidly engulfed the store, destroying mobile phones, accessories, and electronic equipment stocked inside. Local residents and shopkeepers noticed the flames and alerted fire services, who rushed to the spot and managed to bring the situation under control.

Thankfully, no casualties or injuries were reported.
