Goa, June 23 -- A fire broke out in a flat located on the fifth floor of Building 30 at Kurtarkar Apartments, Kurtarkar Nagri, near Kids Nest School in Santacruz-Ponda, on Monday.

The incident prompted an immediate response from the local fire services, who rushed to the scene to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjacent units. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire are yet to be determined.
