Goa, Sept. 16 -- A fire broke out in a second-floor flat at Subhash Complex, Chaudi-Canacona, on Tuesday, triggering panic among residents.

The Fire and Emergency Services (FES) swiftly responded to the incident and managed to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to adjoining flats and shops.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

Authorities are investigating the source of the fire.
