Goa, Feb. 18 -- A fire broke out at a cashew plantation in Nadora, Bardez-Goa, engulfing the plantation and dry grass on Saturday afternoon. Upon receiving a call, the firefighters immediately reached the spot and doused the fire.

Upon receiving the alarm, firefighters swiftly arrived at the scene and battled the flames, despite encountering challenges posed by the wind. Despite their efforts, four plantations were affected, with one sustaining significant damage before the firefighters could fully contain the blaze. Shantaram Gawas, the owner of one of the affected plantations, witnessed his property being engulfed in flames before help arrived.
