Goa, Dec. 14 -- A potential fire tragedy in Pernem was averted after a blaze broke out at a hardware shop in Agarwada, Pernem, on Sunday. According to reports, flames were noticed at the store, prompting an immediate alert to the fire and emergency services. Firefighters rushed to the spot and managed to bring the situation under control before the fire could spread further. Due to the timely response, major damage was prevented, and only minimal losses were reported by the shop owner. No injuries were reported in the incident.
