India, Feb. 3 -- Curchorem police have registered a first information report (FIR) against a known individual for allegedly breaking into the Sai Baba Temple at Kamral in Curchorem and stealing cash from the temple's donation box.

According to police sources, the accused reportedly gained illegal entry into the temple premises and decamped with around Rs 50,000 kept in the donation box. Following a complaint from the temple authorities, police registered the case and initiated an investigation.

Further inquiries are underway to recover the stolen amount and take appropriate legal action against the accused.
