Goa, April 27 -- One of the most popular coaching institutes for engineering and medical entrance exams, FIITJEE, is currently facing intense scrutiny. It was recently revealed that FIITJEE coaching operators collected advance fees totaling INR 250.02 crore from 14,411 students across various states and suddenly closed their coaching centres in January without any prior notice. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation revealed that students were asked to pay advance fees for academic sessions until 2028-29. Of this amount, around INR 206 crore was collected from students currently enrolled in ongoing batches.
