PANJIM, April 19 -- The Tourism Department will hold the second edition of "The Spirit of Goa Festival 2019," after the Lok Sabha and by-polls in three assembly constituencies, from April 26 to April 28.
The three-day event, organised in association with the Goa Feni Distillers & Bottlers, revolves around Coconut and Cashew in a variety of products, cuisine, beverages, handicrafts etc showcasing the traditional aspects and the goodness associated with this produce including home grown spirits ranging from feni, urrack, local beverage, liqueurs, homemade wines and more.
A press statement issued by the department states that the festival will also have live demos on distilling of the cashew juice into Goa's much relished heritage brew Feni....
