Goa, May 30 -- The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has ordered the closure of two meat vendors in Parra after they were found operating in unhygienic conditions and slaughtering animals without following mandated regulations.
The enforcement action was carried out by a team led by Designated Officer Richard Noronha, along with Senior Food Safety Officer Rajaram Patil and officers Amit Mandrekar, Lenin de Sa, and Darlan Diukar. The operation was conducted under the supervision of FDA Director Shweta Dessai.
