Goa, May 30 -- The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has ordered the immediate closure of the IDC canteen in Pilerne after a surprise inspection revealed severe hygiene violations and improper food storage practices.
FDA officials found the kitchen in a highly unhygienic state, with the facility requiring major civil repairs to meet basic health and safety standards. The inspection also uncovered issues related to the unsafe storage of food items, raising serious public health concerns.
