Goa, April 25 -- In a major enforcement drive, the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) conducted surprise inspections across Bardez and Pernem talukas, leading to significant action against violators of food safety norms.
Two Indian snack manufacturing units were shut down for maintaining unhygienic conditions, while a bakery unit and a restaurant in Parra were ordered to suspend operations until further compliance. The inspections are part of the FDA's ongoing efforts to ensure food safety and public health.
