Goa, Sept. 16 -- During a recent inspection along Mopa Airport Road up to Patradevi, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) checked 10 cashew outlets for compliance with food safety regulations.
The inspection revealed multiple violations: one shop was ordered to close for selling substandard cashews without a valid license, another is facing legal action for similar breaches, and a third was fined Rs 10,000 for selling low-quality cashews.
Additionally, the FDA collected samples from other outlets for further testing to ensure consumer safety. Authorities have emphasized strict adherence to licensing and quality standards to protect public health.
