MAPUSA: FC Goa went down fighting to Football Club Mangalore by 1-3 margin in the AIFF U-17 I-League match played at FC Mangalore ground, on Sunday.

FC Goa with 19 points have topped the group and have qualified for the National Round U-17 Youth League, while FC Mangalore with 18 points and on second place have qualified for the play-offs.

In Sunday's match, Young Gaurs surrendered their 37th minute goal from Josley Gomes, to find FC Mangalore level terms in the 67th minute through Mohammad Rinshad, 1-1.

Pepped up by the goal, Nabeel MP netted a brace by scoring in the 83rd and 88th minute 3-1.
