RAIA: FC Goa has confirmed that Spanish midfielder Borja Herrera has extended his contract with the club by one year, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Herrera, who joined the Gaurs on a short-term loan in January 2024 before playing the full 2024-25 season, has been a regular in midfield. Last season, he registered 10 goal involvements in the Indian Super League, including a hat-trick against East Bengal, which secured FC Goa their first win of the season. He also scored four goals in the Kalinga Super Cup, including a brace in the final that helped the team qualify for continental competition.
