Goa, July 11 -- Indian Super League (ISL) club FC Goa officially announced the departure of Spanish centre-back and club captain Odei Onaindia on Thursday via their social media platforms, marking the end of a key chapter in the club's recent history.

Onaindia, known for his exceptional game-reading ability, aerial dominance, and composure under pressure, quickly became one of the most reliable defenders in the ISL. He joined the Gaurs ahead of the 2023-24 season, reuniting with head coach Manolo Marquez, under whom he previously played at Hyderabad FC.
