RAIA, Jan. 30 -- Fatorda Veterans moved past Verna Veterans 5-3 via tie-breaker to move into the next round of Friends Circle, Nuvem, veterans football tournament played at Kir Bhat ground, Nuvem, on Friday.
Verna opened the scoreline through Edith in the 6th minute. Camilo equalised for Fatorda in the 18th minute.
At the end of regulation time, both teams settled for 1-1. In the resultant tie-breaker, Fatorda netted through Shaikh, Joao, Anand and Uday and for Verna Remy and Presley were on target.
The man-of-the-match award was presented to Presley Pereira of Verna Veterans.
