RAIA, Aug. 8 -- Fatorda Veterans edged past Varca Veterans via tie-breaker 8-7 to move into the next round of Pogo Boys 50+ Veterans tournament played at Merces Church ground, on Friday.

Varca Veterans conceded an own goal early, while Anthony Pereira scored twice and Joe added another for Fatorda. Sitabhai's brace kept Varca in the game, but Fatorda held their nerve in the shoot-out. In the tie-breaker, Fatorda Veterans proved to be the better shooters.
