Goa, March 17 -- Residents of Fatorda have been experiencing a water shortage for the last two days due to a leak in an unidentified pipeline. An official from the Public Works Department (PWD) stated that workers are currently trying to pinpoint the exact location of the leak, but it has not yet been found. Consequently, the water supply to the affected area remains interrupted, according to Milagres Fernandes.
"Since yesterday, we have had no water in Madel. We need to bring in a JCB machine to dig and find the source of the leak in the water pipeline. There isn't a single PWD official on-site to address the issue," Milagres noted. He emphasized that this pipeline is crucial for supplying water to Madel, Seraulim, and Mungul.
