Goa, Jan. 24 -- A four-year-old girl was beaten to death by her father after she failed to count till 50 in Haryana's Faridabad, police said. The incident occurred on January 21 when Krishna Jaiswal was teaching his daughter at their rented home. When the child was unable to complete the counting exercise, Jaiswal allegedly lost his temper and assaulted her repeatedly, leaving her unconscious. He later rushed her to a nearby government hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Jaiswal initially claimed that the child had fallen down the stairs while playing.
