Goa, July 8 -- Strong winds in the Deulwada area of Surla triggered a dramatic incident as a large mango tree toppled, bringing down two electricity poles and damaging a vehicle parked nearby. The incident, which occurred during gusty weather, raised serious concerns among locals about the safety of public infrastructure during the monsoon season.
The fallen tree pulled down the adjacent electricity poles, one of which crashed onto a four-wheeler owned by Gurudas Vaze, the revered priest of the Siddheswar Temple. While the vehicle sustained significant damage, no injuries were reported.
