Goa, April 8 -- An explosion occurred outside the residence of Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manoranjan Kalia in the early hours of Tuesday, causing significant concern. Kalia, who was reportedly asleep at the time, initially mistook the blast for thunder but later learned that it was an explosion outside his home. Fortunately, the BJP leader is reported to be safe.

Following the blast, police teams were quickly dispatched to Kalia's residence, and forensic experts arrived at the scene to gather evidence. An investigation has been launched to determine the source and perpetrator of the blast.
