Goa, Oct. 16 -- Social activist Elvis Gomes, along with Yogesh Nagvenkar and other concerned citizens, visited the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) office to raise concerns over the ongoing property tax assessment survey being carried out by a third-party agency.
Gomes questioned the safety of citizens' personal data collected during the survey, urging the council to ensure that the information remains secure and is not misused. He emphasized that all data gathered must be used strictly for official purposes and handled with utmost confidentiality.
