PANJIM, Dec. 10 -- The State government on Saturday ordered the transfer of eight police inspectors with immediate effect.

According to an order issued by Nelson B R Albuquerque, Superintendent of Police (HQ), Panjim, Police Inspector IPI) Yogesh S Sawant, who was attached to the Security Unit Panjim (CM Security), has been transferred and posted as PI of Old Goa Police Station while, PI Raghoba H Kamat, who was with Security Unit, Panjim (CM Security), has been now posted as PI of Mardol police station.
