Goa, Jan. 2 -- Advocate Pratima Coutinho has revealed that the condition of Edberg Pereira remains critical, with doctors now preparing him for a third surgical procedure. According to Coutinho, Pereira's left arm and part of his body have reportedly weakened as his health continues to deteriorate.

She further alleged that staff at Goa Medical College (GMC) shifted Pereira onto a stretcher while he was still lying on his hospital bed due to a shortage of available beds. Following her intervention along with family members, Pereira was later shifted back to a bed.
