Goa, Nov. 17 -- The District Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA), in coordination with Goa Police and local Gaurakshaks, confiscated suspected illegal beef from a vendor's shop in Navelim today. According to the Gaurakshaks, the person transporting the meat could not produce legal documents, including transport permits or certification verifying the meat met legal standards. They also claimed that skulls, bones, and blood traces recovered from the shop matched the seized meat. Authorities have requested Goa Police to launch an immediate investigation.
