Goa, Nov. 23 -- The Disability Rights Association of Goa (DRAG) has raised serious concerns over alleged police inaction in a case involving the harassment and mental torture of a senior citizen with a disability in Verna.DRAG stated that despite repeated complaints, police have failed to take timely action against the accused neighbour, who allegedly assaulted and mentally abused the elderly victim. The association said it has formally taken cognisance of the matter and is pushing authorities for an urgent resolution.
