India, Feb. 6 -- Ponda-based physician Dr Ketan Bhatikar on Thursday met Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant in Ponda during the 'Sarkar Tumchya Daari' outreach programme and highlighted several key issues concerning healthcare and governance in the constituency.
Bhatikar informed the Chief Minister that the Ponda Infectious Diseases (ID) Hospital is currently functioning without a cardiosurgeon, neurosurgeon and orthopaedic surgeon, affecting specialised medical services for patients. He claimed that CM Sawant asked him to suggest probable names of specialists who could be approached for these posts.
