Goa, Oct. 30 -- The Panaji Police have made a key breakthrough in the Donapaula dacoity case with the arrest of Mahmmod Ali, a 46-year-old resident of Calangute and native of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Ali is accused of assisting the main suspect in identifying the target property at Dempo Vista, Donapaula, and helping plan and execute the crime on April 20. According to SP North Rahul Gupta, IPS, Ali also sheltered the prime accused before and after the dacoity.
Investigators revealed that Ali had a prior criminal record and was previously arrested by Vasco Police for offences related to attempted murder, dacoity, and violations under the Arms Act. He was taken into custody on October 29, 2025, and has been remanded to five days of poli...
