Goa, June 9 -- Doctors, faculty heads, consultants, interns, and students at Goa Medical College (GMC) staged a united protest demanding a public apology from the Health Minister. The protest, led by the IMA Council and senior medical staff, condemned the growing VIP culture in hospitals and called for strict action against individuals recording videos in doctor-patient sensitive zones.

Protesters emphasized the need for zero tolerance toward political interference in medical spaces and the protection of both patient privacy and medical staff dignity. The medical fraternity has urged the state to enact strict rules to prevent further disruption in healthcare environments.
