Goa, Nov. 13 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has officially taken over the probe into Monday's deadly explosion near Delhi's Red Fort that claimed nine lives and left 20 others injured. Sources have confirmed that the person driving the white Hyundai i20 that exploded at 6:52 pm has been identified as Dr Umar Mohammad, following DNA test results.

Dr Mohammad, a senior doctor at Al Falah University in Faridabad, was confirmed as the deceased through DNA samples that matched 100 per cent with those of his mother and brother. Investigators matched Umar's DNA with remains including bones, teeth, and fragments of clothing recovered from the blast site.
