Goa, Aug. 13 -- Tamil Nadu's ruling DMK has sharply criticized the Election Commission of India (ECI), accusing it of colluding with the BJP to undermine fair elections by enabling "mass voter deletions" during Bihar's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. At a recent meeting chaired by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, the DMK condemned the removal of 65 lakh voters in Bihar, stressing this action defied a Supreme Court warning against large-scale deletions without due process, and branded the move "anti-democratic" and a threat to a level playing field in elections.
