Goa, Nov. 26 -- Goa Forest Development Corporation Chairperson and Poriem MLA Deviya Rane on Wednesday declined to comment extensively on the Central Empowered Committee's (CEC) recommendation to declare a tiger reserve in Goa.

Rane said that a clear hierarchy and protocol must be observed before she can share her opinion on the matter. "The Chief Minister will speak first, followed by the Forest Minister and the state's Advocate General. Only after that will I place my views," she stated.

Her remarks come even as the proposed tiger reserve continues to generate significant public and political interest across the state.
