Goa, Jan. 6 -- Town and Country Planning (TCP) Minister Vishwajit Rane has asserted that all development in Goa will be carried out strictly in accordance with the law, warning that any deviation from prescribed norms will attract firm action from the government.

Rane emphasised that there will be "no compromise" on statutory compliance and that authorities will continue to closely monitor planning and construction activities across the state to ensure regulations are fully followed.

The minister said the government remains committed to orderly and sustainable development while safeguarding public interest and environmental standards.
