Goa, Jan. 1 -- Despite transfer orders issued over a month ago, four Police Inspectors posted at Colva, Valpoi, TEC Panjim and Canacona are yet to be relieved or take charge at their new postings. Sources said the delay has affected routine functioning at some police stations. In Colva, the Traffic Cell is currently being managed by a Police Sub-Inspector as the transferred Inspector has not assumed charge. Officials said the matter has been brought to the notice of senior authorities. The delay comes despite clear transfer directives, raising questions over administrative follow-up. Police headquarters is expected to intervene to ensure the pending transfers are implemented without further delay.
