Goa, Dec. 10 -- Goa Forward Party (GFP) president and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai on Tuesday criticised the partial demolition of the Romeo Lane structure at Vagator, calling it a 'diversionary stunt' and ac-cused the BJP government of adopting an "Uttar Pradesh-style bulldozer raj" to deflect attention from its own failures. "I have a pending case where demolition has been delayed since June 2025. I raised this matter in the House. An assurance was given, but nothing has been done. This is the next disaster waiting to happen. Will they demolish that?" he asked.
