Goa, Jan. 19 -- The Delhi High Court on Monday declined to suspend the sentence awarded to former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the custodial death case of the Unnao rape survivor's father. The court noted that Sengar's appeal challenging his conviction would be taken up for hearing in due course but refused to grant interim relief. The decision comes as a major setback for Sengar, who is already serving a life sentence in the rape case involving the survivor.
