Goa, Dec. 11 -- The brothers, currently detained in Thailand after fleeing India just hours after the Goa nightclub tragedy, are expected to be brought back soon.

Court rejects bail pleaThe Luthras had approached the Delhi court seeking interim protection and anticipatory transit bail, but both pleas were dismissed. Their counsel argued they were "also human" and noted the number of employees dependent on their hospitality ventures. Senior advocate Tanveer Ahmed Mir said they were not present at Arpora's 'Birch by Romeo Lane' when the fire broke out and described the incident as negligence, not criminal intent. He also pointed out that they had not escaped after "a fraud of Rs 5,000 crore".
