Goa, May 31 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has assured swift action to resolve the medical treatment challenges faced by beneficiaries of the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) in Goa. This assurance followed a meeting between Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, and the Defence Minister, where concerns raised by the United Veterans Association regarding healthcare access for ex-servicemen were discussed.

Salkar stated, "During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted the difficulties ECHS beneficiaries face in obtaining timely and adequate medical care in Goa and urged the Defence Minister to address these issues promptly."
