Goa, April 1 -- The deadline for the completion of the Taad Maad road, which was set for March 31, has passed, but work on the road remains unfinished due to ongoing complexities, according to Sanjit Rodrigues, CEO of IPSCDL. Rodrigues stated that additional time is required to complete the project, citing various challenges that have delayed progress.
Addressing concerns about the impact on the environment, Rodrigues also clarified that the banyan tree, which had been at the center of discussions, remains safe. He dismissed claims that the tree had been damaged during the construction process, calling the reports "false."
The IPSCDL is now seeking more time to resolve the remaining issues and complete the road project.
