Although Cyclone Alfred has been downgraded to a tropical low, its effects are still significant, leaving hundreds of thousands without electricity across Queensland and New South Wales as heavy rainfall, strong winds, and increasing flood risks persist.
Furthermore, in anticipation of the tropical cyclone's arrival in Brisbane, Australian authorities have mandated the evacuation of thousands of residents.
