Goa, Dec. 24 -- A worker was found dead inside an under-construction building in Curchorem on Wednesday morning, prompting police to initiate an investigation to determine the cause of death.

According to preliminary information, the worker was known to sleep at the construction site. When his co-workers arrived at the site in the morning to wake him up, they found him unresponsive and immediately alerted the authorities.

Personnel from Curchorem Police Station rushed to the spot and conducted a preliminary inspection. The body was later sent for further examination as part of standard procedure.
