Goa, Dec. 26 -- A six-foot-long crocodile and a large python were recently spotted in the rivulet at Kopelvaddo in Davorlim-Navelim, causing concern among local residents. Locals said the crocodile had never been seen in the area before, raising fears about public safety. The sightings have prompted residents to alert the Forest Department. However, rescue or relocation operations are yet to begin. Authorities have been urged to act swiftly to prevent any untoward incidents, especially as the rivulet is frequently accessed by villagers.
