India, Feb. 9 -- The Merces Sessions Court has acquitted all 10 individuals accused in connection with the December 2021 Anganwadi workers' protest held outside Chief Minister Pramod Sawant's official residence at Altinho, Panaji. The protest, which reportedly saw participation from over 600 people, had led to a case being registered against these ten individuals. However, the court cited lack of independent evidence and absence of supporting medical proof as key grounds for granting the acquittal.
