Cotarlim, April 17 -- Tensions flared early this morning at the Timblo Agricultural Farm in Cotarli, Sanguem, as a large group of local villagers and long-time farm workers staged a protest against alleged harassment, discrimination, and exploitative labour practices.
The protest saw dozens of daily wage workers, many with over three decades of experience at the farm, gherao the farm office, demanding justice, fair treatment, and a direct meeting with the farm's owner, Radha Timblo.
