Goa, May 24 -- Cortalim Congress leader Olencio Simoes, along with concerned villagers, has called for urgent rectification of the approach roads from Cortalim to the Bridge Junction and from the Toyota showroom to the Zuari Bridge. Simoes highlighted that these stretches have become accident-prone zones, with several incidents reported in recent months. He attributed the rising number of accidents to poor road alignment, substandard design, and a lack of adequate safety measures, all of which pose serious risks to motorists.
