BICHOLIM, April 17 -- Ex Congress General General Secretary Khemlo Sawant has said if incumbent GPCC President Amit Patkar continues in office till the next Assembly Election, then Congress candidates will not win a single seat. He made this startling statement on Thursday at a press conference.

Sawant who is presently a member of the Congress alleged that Patkar does not allow any Congressman to do work anywhere, especially in Sanquelim Constituency. He said that the party secured over 11,000 votes in the Assembly Elections 2022. However in the Lok Sabha elections the votes were hardly above 3000. No post mortem was done on why this happened.
