Goa, Dec. 22 -- In the first round of counting for the St Cruz Zilla Panchayat constituency, the Congress has emerged in the lead, securing 2,013 votes. The BJP is trailing closely with 1,719 votes, keeping the contest competitive. The Aam Aadmi Party has so far managed to garner 166 votes. Counting is still underway, and officials said trends may change as more rounds are completed. Final results will be declared after all rounds of counting conclude.
