Goa, May 21 -- A compound wall collapsed in Shetyewaddo, Mapusa, following heavy rainfall, causing damage to two parked scooters. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The Mapusa Fire and Emergency Services team responded swiftly to the scene and worked to clear the debris and ensure public safety. The incident has raised concerns among residents about the structural stability of older buildings and walls, especially with the monsoon approaching.

Local authorities are expected to assess the area for further risk and recommend preventive measures to avoid similar incidents
