Commuting along the 1.5 km stretch from Curti to Priol has turned out to be a "nightmarish" experience for travellers.
Naresh Naik, a local said, "The stretch was dug twice for laying underground electricity cables last year, but the road is yet to be restored to its original condition. To make matters worse for daily commuters, the stretch has developed potholes and many travellers have been complaining of suffering from back problems."
