Goa, Nov. 16 -- In a notable display of community responsibility and civic awareness, Colva-based social worker and President of the Fisherman Association, Thomas Rodrigues, has taken it upon himself to clean the once-popular seaside garden in Colva. The space had been lying neglected for several years, with Rodrigues claiming there was a complete lack of response from concerned authorities.

His efforts have once again drawn attention to the deteriorating condition of public spaces in one of Goa's most visited coastal villages.
